The preparation will consist of four weekly lessons at St Mel\u2019s parish hall, conducted by the parish priest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children in Year 6 and above who are baptised in the Roman Catholic Rite and have received their First Confession and First Holy Communion are now able to receive Confirmation. If any of your older children have not yet received Confirmation, then they too can be enrolled in our lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like your child or children to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this year, please\u00a0<strong>fill in the attached Enrolment Form and add a copy of their baptism certificate and return by Wednesday 16 October\u00a0<\/strong>to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Father Joseph at the church before or after any Mass;<br>or email them to: <a href=\"mailto:stmelscampsie@bigpond.com\" style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">stmelscampsie@bigpond.com<\/a><br>or bring them to the parish office\/ presbytery mail-box, 7 Evaline St, Campsie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Confirmation\u00a0<\/strong>will be celebrated on\u00a0<strong>Friday 15th November 2024 at 7:00pm.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The four preparation lessons\u00a0<\/strong>will be held in St Mel\u2019s parish hall from 6:00 \u2013 7:00pm on:\u00a0<br><strong>Thursday evenings \u2013 October 24,\u00a0October 31,\u00a0November 7,\u00a0November 14<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sacrament of Confirmation 2024 This year in our Parish the\u00a0Sacrament of Confirmation\u00a0will be conferred by Bishop Richard Umbers at\u00a0Saint Mel\u2019s church,\u00a07:00pm Friday 15th\u00a0November 2024.
