Eucharist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Eucharist is “the source and the summit of the whole of the  Church\u2019s worship and of the Christian life”. “The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch” (CCC, 1324)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Confession & First Holy Communion 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our Parish\u2019s children will be prepared for their first Confession (Reconciliation) and their First Holy Communion in six weekly lessons at St Mel\u2019s parish hall, conducted by the parish priest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Holy Communion\u00a0<\/strong>will be celebrated on\u00a0Saturday 15th June 2024\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a011:00am Mass<\/strong>.
First Confession<\/strong>: each student will be allocated an evening after class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The six lessons\u00a0<\/strong>will be held in St Mel\u2019s parish hall from 6:00 \u2013 7:00pm on Thursday evenings:
May 9,\u00a0May 16,\u00a0May 23,\u00a0May 30,\u00a0June 6,\u00a0June 13<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you wish to enrol your child or children (Year 3 or above) for the Sacraments of First Confession and Holy Communion, please\u00a0fill in the attached Enrolment Form and add a copy of their baptism certificate and return by Wednesday 1st May\u00a0<\/strong>to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
