Sacrament of Confirmation 2023

This year in our Parish the Sacrament of Confirmation is scheduled to be celebrated at Saint Mel’s church at 11:00am on Saturday 25th November 2023 conferred by Bishop Brady. The preparation will consist of four consecutive weekly lessons at St Mel’s parish hall, to be conducted by myself, the parish priest.

Children in Year 6 and above who are baptised in the Roman Catholic Rite and have received their First Confession and First Holy Communion are now able to receive Confirmation. According to our information, your child may be eligible for this Sacrament. If any of your older children have not yet received Confirmation, then they too can be enrolled in our lessons.

If you would like your child or children to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this year, please fill in the Enrolment Form and add a copy of their baptism certificate and return by Friday 20 October to:

or email them to: [email protected]
or bring them to the parish office/ presbytery mail-box, 7 Evaline St, Campsie
or give to your child’s catechist at the Public School.
